Your email address — and only your email address — when you submit it via the signup form on this site or any Hjartar publication.
What we use it for
To send announcements when a new Hjartar piece is published. Roughly one email per publication. No newsletter cadence, no curated links, no marketing.
Who handles it
Email delivery is operated by Buttondown, our email-service provider, who stores your address on our behalf. We share it with no one else. Buttondown is based in the United States; transfers from the EEA and UK rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of any email. To request deletion or a copy of your data outside email, write to hjortur@hjartar.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and stores no personal data. No Google Analytics, no third-party cookies, no behavioural tracking.
